Film Review - The Pelican Brief

Dominik DiamondThe Pelican Brief is a strange, dreamlike film about half a feathered underpant.

Dominik Diamond tries on a strange undergarment in a backstreet clothes shop in Sheffield. He is instantly besotted with these pelican briefs, but unfortunately the shop only takes cash and Dominik doesn't have enough.

Returning later, having visited the cash machine, Dominik is distraught to find that in his absence, half of the pelican briefs have scarpered, leaving merely a pelican brief. Dominik haggles with the shop owner and eventually persuades him to part with the pant for half the price of the full garment. The remainder of the film depicts Dominik's quest to reunite the two halves of his undercrackers.
